With all the press PRISM was getting I had decided to start adding rules to https everywhere a tool used to enable secure https connection to websites. This post is a summary of my findings of trying to enable https connection to top thai websites (according to truehits).

TL;DR: None of the top 10 sites properly support SSL

Kapook.com – no SSL

Sanook.com – no SSL

Mthai.com – timed out (no SSL)

th.hao123.com – no SSL

manager.co.th – no SSL

dek-d.com – no SSL

thairath.co.th – SSL Certificate Error

Bloggang.com – no SSL

Weloveshopping.com – SSL enabled but site breaks

Siamsport.co.th – no SSL
